The Club

A professional women's football club with a real route to the top

The She Kicks Football Club is where a young player's ambition turns competitive. Youth and senior squads, certified coaching, and a division-by-division climb toward the Indian Women's League, built on the belief that India's women can reach a World Cup.

The club is the top of the pyramid

For a girl who is serious about the game, the real question is simple: is there a women's football club she can actually join and turn professional with? In India, that is still rare. There is no shortage of places to kick a ball, but very few that carry a player the whole way. That is the gap the She Kicks Football Club fills. It is the visible summit of the She Kicks pyramid, the club a promising player aims for once she has been developed and spotted.

handshake

Structure that a national breakthrough is built on, backed by long-term investment.

Founder Aditi Chauhan has long argued that Indian women's football needs structural and cultural reform rather than one-off camps. The club is that argument made concrete: a standing team, a fixed calendar, and a plan that does not depend on any single season going well.

The roadmap to the Indian Women's League

The club does not promise the top overnight. It sets out an honest, division-by-division climb through the Delhi Football Association pyramid and into the Indian Women's League 2, so every player and family knows the destination and the steps between here and there.

A place in the national pyramid, the goal the whole climb is built toward.

This ladder connects directly to the wider ecosystem. Players are introduced and developed through the academy, gain competitive minutes in the She Kicks Football League, and are supported by the Aditi Chauhan Foundation so that talent, not background, decides who rises.

One squad of thirty, three levels of the game

The club is built around a sustainable squad of about thirty players, deliberately kept to a size it can support properly rather than one it cannot. Players compete across three age levels, each a real rung on the way to senior football, with a year-round training base at the residential centre as a long-term goal.

Under-15

The youngest club level, where scouted girls learn to train and compete as athletes while their game is still forming.

Under-17

The bridge age, sharpening tactical understanding and match sharpness before the step up into the senior game.

Senior Women

The competitive first team that carries the club up the divisions and gives senior players a stage to be scouted.

Keeping the squad to a sustainable size, supported by the Aditi Chauhan Foundation and its partners, is a deliberate choice. It means every player gets real coaching attention and a genuine chance to progress, rather than being one name among hundreds.

What a player gets at the club

Signing for the club is more than a place in a team. Each player is set up to develop as a complete athlete, on the pitch and off it, with the practical things a serious footballing life needs handled around her.

How a girl becomes a professional footballer here

How do you become a professional footballer in India, and how do girls get scouted along the way? The honest answer is a structured environment plus competitive minutes in front of the right eyes. That is the whole shape of the She Kicks pathway, and the club is its final rung.

Climb toward the top

Compete up the divisions, with the Indian Women's League as the destination.

This is not theory. A She Kicks player has already progressed to a top tier club competing in the Indian Women's League, India's top division, and the AFC Championships, proof that the route from grassroots to the professional game can be walked. India's senior side qualifying on merit has made that rise feel real, and the club is built to add to it.

Women's football club: your questions

What players and families ask most about going pro.

Yes. The She Kicks Football Club is a women's football club in India built as a professional pathway, not a hobby side. It fields U-15, U-17 and Senior Women squads and follows a clear roadmap up the Delhi Football Association divisions toward the Indian Women's League. Get into a structured environment early, train year round as an athlete, and play competitive matches where scouts watch. The She Kicks Football Club offers certified coaching, strength and conditioning, nutrition guidance and regular match exposure across youth and senior levels. Register your interest by email or through the enquiry form on this page.

Scouting happens where girls play, so competitive minutes matter more than anything. She Kicks runs talent identification trials, women's tournaments and league fixtures where division-level coaches assess players and invite the strongest into the club. The surest route is simply to be seen playing, so enter a trial and keep turning up.

There is no single cut-off, though the club scouts many players around under-15 so they can develop as full-time athletes with years of runway. Younger girls grow into the game through workshops and youth squads, while older, committed players still earn places through trials. The sooner a girl is seen, the more room she has.

It is rarely too late to commit. Players who start structured training in their late teens can still progress through the senior setup with the right coaching, conditioning and match load. The club scouts younger players for the long runway, yet places at Senior Women level are earned on performance, not birth year. Come to a trial.

Yes. The Senior Women squad is open to committed adult players who can hold the standard of training and competition. Ability, fitness and attitude decide selection rather than age alone. The best next step is a trial, where coaches assess where you fit. Write to shekicksfa03@gmail.com or use the enquiry form on this page.

The senior national side has been rising, and Aditi Chauhan has said the women could reach a World Cup even ahead of the men if the pathway keeps strengthening. Clubs like this one exist to feed that pyramid, giving young players the competition and coaching that a national breakthrough is built on.

Register your interest and the team will point you to the right entry, whether a talent trial or a youth squad suited to your age and level. Write to shekicksfa03@gmail.com, call +91 91767 91552, or use the enquiry form on this page, and a coach will follow up about the next trial.
