The Academy

A women's football academy built for the professional pathway

The She Kicks Football Academy is a girls' and women's football academy built around one idea: give a girl a serious route from her first touch to the professional game. It runs on a women specific curriculum designed by Aditi Chauhan, with sports technology woven through every stage of development. This is She Kicks, India's first women centric football program, established in 2018.

A women specific curriculum, designed by a woman who played at the top

Most academies in this country teach girls a version of the men's game and hope it transfers. She Kicks starts somewhere else. The academy runs on a women specific football curriculum designed by Aditi Chauhan, who captained India and became the first Indian to play for a Premier League club, and who has since put that experience into how young female players are actually developed. Technology is woven in across the pyramid, so the way a beginner is coached and the way a committed player is measured come from the same considered plan rather than being left to chance.

She Kicks is India's first women centric football program, and the academy is where that idea becomes daily coaching. It is a soccer development academy in the truest sense: a place whose job is not to fill an hour but to move a player forward, session after session, toward wherever her game can take her.

Centers of Excellence, where the real training happens

The curriculum is delivered through Centers of Excellence: focused training environments, run by AFC licensed coaches, where girls develop in a safe and supportive setting rather than being thrown in at the deep end. These centers run pan-India, with established bases in Gurgaon and Manipur and a new center opening in Bangalore, and they are built for holistic development, the football alongside the fitness, the confidence and the care that let a young player keep going. If you have been searching for serious football coaching for a girl, this is what it should look like.

Clinics and workshops that reach girls where they already are

Not every player finds an academy on her own, so the academy goes to her. She Kicks runs excellence clinics and workshops for residential schools and institutions, bringing structured, grassroots football coaching into places where girls are already gathered. Crucially, these clinics are led with National Team players, so a young girl does not just hear that women can go far in this game, she trains next to someone who has. That is how role models are built, and how talent gets spotted early.

Talent identification runs through these sessions, so a standout player can be invited to go further.

If you run a school or institution and want to bring a clinic to your girls, or you are a player wondering how to get a first trial, the honest starting point is the same: tell us through the enquiry form and we will take it from there. Scouted girls who need support can also be backed through the Aditi Chauhan Foundation, so a lack of means does not end a promising player's road.

How players are actually developed: coaching, backed by data

Good coaching sets the direction; data tells you whether a player is really moving along it. The academy's development approach draws on measurement across the areas that decide how far a footballer goes, so decisions about a girl's training are informed rather than guessed. It is what separates a modern development academy from a place that simply runs drills, and it is built around the specific needs of female athletes, not borrowed wholesale from the men's game.

GSK Football Schools, taking the game to more grounds

The academy's reach grows through GSK Football Schools, where She Kicks is the technical partner of Grasport International. Together they deliver age-specific training at partner schools and venues, so structured coaching reaches girls who might never make it to a dedicated center, and the youngest players are taught in a way that fits their stage rather than a one-size-fits-all session. These schools are not a side project. They are the wide base of the pyramid, and the training there feeds directly into the club pathway above it. You can see who makes that possible on the partners page.

The road ahead

The goal: a fully equipped residential academy in Gurgaon

She Kicks is working toward a long-term goal of building a fully equipped residential football academy in Gurgaon, Haryana, a home base where committed players could train, study and grow under one roof. It is an ambition the program is building toward, not a facility that is open today, and we would rather tell you that plainly than dress a plan up as a place.

As that vision takes shape, the academy keeps developing players through its Centers of Excellence, clinics and partner schools. If a residential academy is what you are looking for, register your interest and we will keep you honestly informed as things progress.

An academy that opens onto a real pathway

What makes She Kicks different from a standalone academy is what sits above and around it. A girl does not develop into a vacuum here. The academy builds her game, the club gives her a professional summit to climb toward, the league gives her competitive minutes and a stage to be scouted on, and the foundation makes sure that money is not the reason a talented girl stops. It is one connected ecosystem, and this bigger role in women's football is exactly what Aditi set out to build after her playing career.

This is not a story on paper. A She Kicks player has already progressed to a top tier club competing in the Indian Women's League, India's top division, and the AFC Championships, and Aditi built this platform so more girls who aspire to go professional have the same road to walk.

Girls' football academy: your questions

What players and families ask most before joining the academy.

The She Kicks Football Academy runs a women specific football curriculum designed by Aditi Chauhan, delivered through Centers of Excellence with AFC licensed coaches and supported by sports technology. It is part of She Kicks, India's first women centric football program, established in 2018, and it develops girls from grassroots toward the professional game.

The curriculum is designed by Aditi Chauhan, the first Indian to play for a Premier League club and a licensed coach. Sessions are led by AFC licensed coaches, and clinics are run with National Team players so girls train alongside real role models. You can read Aditi's story on the about page.

There is no single right age to begin. The academy is built as a pathway, from a first touch at grassroots clinics through to serious, structured development for committed players, so girls join at the stage that fits them. For most families the honest step is to enquire and we will guide you.

Fees depend on the program, the center and the level a player joins at, so there is no single figure that fits everyone. Rather than quote a number that may not apply to you, we share the current structure directly. Email shekicksfa03@gmail.com or use the enquiry form and we will send details.

Start by registering your interest through the enquiry form on this page, by email at shekicksfa03@gmail.com, or by phone. Players are then invited into clinics and talent identification sessions, and those who stand out move into the wider She Kicks pathway. There is no barrier of prior standing to begin.

Three things: a curriculum built specifically for women rather than borrowed from the men's game, a development approach that uses data across fitness, skill, health and load management, and a genuine pathway that connects the academy to a club, a league and a foundation that funds access. It is built to take a player somewhere.

She Kicks runs Centers of Excellence in Gurgaon and Manipur, with a new center opening in Bangalore, and extends its reach through GSK Football Schools at partner schools and venues across India. Wherever a player is based, the enquiry form is the quickest way to find the nearest session or to ask about bringing a clinic to a school or institution.

The academy develops players, the She Kicks Football Club is the professional summit they aim for, the league gives competitive match minutes and scouting, and the Aditi Chauhan Foundation funds access for girls who need support. Together they form one pathway, so progress in one part opens the door to the next.
